In the bustling city of Bengaluru, it is quite easy to get lost in the crowd and never-ending traffic. From palaces to lakes to forts, Bengaluru's classic locations are as diverse as its population. There is no dearth of places to visit with your friends in Bangalore.
This list has been made for those of you who thrive on Bengaluru's classic chill weather, the scent of the signature Filter Coffee and steaming Masala Dosa every morning.
1. Bangalore Palace
Built in the year 1878, Bangalore Palace has become the city's central attraction. In addition to being a historical tourist attraction, the Palace has hosted various cultural events, rock shows, and marriages over the years. The Palace gives you a chance to witness the elegant splendour of one of the most powerful dynasties of South India. You can spend an entire afternoon with your friends exploring the history and taking a tour of the Royal Palace.
2. Lal Bagh
Over 240 acres of greenery, Lal Bagh is one of the most beautiful parks in Bengaluru. The garden dating back to the 18th century is the perfect place for a picnic or a photoshoot with friends. Lal Bagh hosts two beautiful flower shows every year, on the week of Republic Day and Independence Day. 3. Cubbon Park

4. Nandi Hills
Located around 60 km from Bengaluru, Nandi Hills is a major tourist attraction for travellers and nature lovers. Scattered with shrines and monuments, Nandi Hills is surrounded by majestic views from 4851 feet above sea level. It is a common sight to see weekenders travelling early in the morning to catch a glimpse of the sunrise. 5. Bannerghatta National Park
A sanctuary of diverse flora and fauna, Bannerghatta National Park is visited by hundreds of travellers every day. You can expect to find Elephants, Lions, Tigers, Sloth Bears, and more. Located 22 km from Bengaluru, you can also find a butterfly park, an aquarium, a crocodile park and a museum.
6. Big Banyan Tree
Almost 400 years old, The Big Banyan Tree is another acclaimed tourist attraction located in the village of Kethohalli in the Bangalore Urban district. The Big Banyan Tree or Dodda Alada Mara spreads over three acres of land and is one of the largest of its kind.
